Purpose of Life: Can You Decay & Come Back to Life?
A thousand footsteps to take in a visual, oh, the deep breaths.
A patch of wildflowers on the hillside
and I think to myself.
How they thrive through the seasons,
feel beautiful despite their days.
How their roots take hold of courage
to come back in the Spring to spread
their purpose of life, beauty, and seeds.
a wildflower’s purpose. Mine too.

#1 Purpose of Life: Child-Like Energy
Remember when you were a child, at least for some of us, they were happy times. Our heads filled with dreams and desires. Sharing with others in laughter and imaginary stories. We were vulnerable and raw, alive and breathing. Then, some are never to experience this at all.
- Yet, how do I teach words of love if they have never been felt?
This life of repression, suppression, and hidden secrets, I can understand how things can be daunting to the mind and the illusion of limitations.
#2 Purpose of Life: Learning and Expression
Sometimes we lock our lives into our past impressions and experiences, I am guilty of this as well. Repetition can create boredom and then we turn into our shadows of guilt and regret.
“Acknowledge to yourself what it is you would be: and then invest the energy to become what you desire.” – Linda J Wolff
As we feel these emotions, we lock our souls into avoiding the root cause; we mustn’t do that. We must seek the unconsciousness, beneath our thoughts, this is the essence of learning and transformation.
Can you learn to walk the thousand steps it will take to loosen the grips of doubt, fear, and trust in your new growth? This journey will ask from you to bring courage, and forgiveness of them and yourself.
Believe me, I remember how hard it was to let the old identities die, decay and then in those thousands of steps to reseed myself in a new renewal of possibilities, to trust that there is love. I claimed my identity as child-like, the dreamer, the visionary of opportunities I knew that was meant for me.
I want for you to feel the energy, the purpose of life pulling you: inviting you to do something.
If you ever feel the need to share how you feel, I’m here for you.
Be safe. Be well.
Sending love and light always from my soul to yours,
Sincerely,
Linda J Wolff
